Utilising state-of-the-art Kinect technology, Cadbury Dairy Milk has developed a motion-gesture driven digital wall as a fun and innovative way to introduce the consumer to our new re-sealable packaging.

Every bit a bite of joy

With over 850 000 entries received on multiple digital channels (USSD, SMS, web and mobi), BNRY delivered and managed the most successful volume-driver campaign in the history of Cadbury and parent-company, Kraft Foods SA.

Date Drive

BNRY developed a South African first for agency partner Ogilvy Cape Town – biometrics, tweets and other statistics streamed live to the web via a Bluetooth Android device during test drives. The campaign generated an 18:1 PR return for Volkswagen and contributed to the Polo GTI selling out in days.

Axe

To launch Axe's new hair care range, BNRY developed interactive, video-based content for online banners and a Facebook page with agency partner Razorfish New York. This way, users were almost able to try the product for themselves – wherever in the world they were located.

Design Indaba

BNRY delivered another first for SA: combining augmented reality and motion gesture technology to allow frustrated creatives to engage in a virtual boxing match using their webcams. Print ads utilising AR codes unlocked the experience.

Taking full advantage of the visual and interactive capabilities of the iPad, BNRY developed a graphics-rich application for Wilderness Safaris designed to showcase both their various CSI projects, and the environments in which their work takes place.

BNRY developed the digital components for the 2012 Pendoring Awards with agency partner Draft FCB, including a retro-styled online game and various promotional mailers.

Toyota Etios

Tweet for Sweets

South Africa's first tweet-activated installation was developed by BNRY and Thingking for agency partner Draft FCB. Twitter integration and the interface with a gumball machine's electronics allowed tweets to activate a fun, Rube Goldberg-like construction that delivered smiles (and gumballs).

Free Zimbabwe

Acknowledging social media's pervasive presence, BNRY delivered the campaign message by manipulating Facebook's familiar friend request mechanism, which activated a satirical profile takeover. The campaign was a D&AD 2012 Winner and received a mention from South African marketing guru Andy Rice in his regular Orchids and Onions column.
